Designing and validating the backward curriculum in child’s verbal skill training lesson

Abstract :
Abstract: The present research performed to design and validating the backward curriculum in verbal skill training lesson. By given to the research goal, it is an applied study and by given to data gathering method, it is a combined (qualitative and quantitative) study. The research statistical society in qualitative section included textbook of training the verbal skill and the curriculum, the verbal skill training lesson, the trainee’s guidance in verbal skill training lesson; and in quantitative section the research statistical society included asking from experts and curriculum developers of Iran that selected by objective sampling method. The data gathering tool was the author’s made questionnaire with 13 questions. The validity of questionnaire confirmed by five curriculum experts and its reliability determined by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient as 0.901. The author by referring to articles, books, documents, texts and web sites in advanced countries in relation to backward curriculum, selected the related samples intentional and after investigation, summarization and concluding from them introduced the backward curriculum and its capabilities and its Akker ten elements’ specifications. Then, the backward curriculum elements offered to curriculum experts in form of a questionnaire with 13 questions. Finally, after analyzing the gathered data via descriptive and deductive method, it revealed that in average 90.17% of experts gave the “completely agree” and “agree” answer to those questions. Thus based on research findings, the new curriculum of verbal skills training significantly is accordant with backward curriculum and the results show the high validity of this design
